my princess.
it is now a priority to wear her princess rapunzel costume as often as possible. it is usually a good bribing tool...ella do _____ and you can do _____...so i use it to my advantage as often as possible. win win. today she wanted princess hair...since i was offering every 5 minutes to do it for her. here is the result.

then she decided to show her captain along with mine in the background. blurriness + mirror makes captain look large and in charge. but i was able to get her to give him a kiss. disclaimer:: she did slap my belly right after she kissed it...she's a turkey.

monster mash.
the fam came over last night to preview miss olivia the pig and gorge on some halloween treats. mom carved a pumpkin especially for ella. and ella almost died until she got to eat her cupcake. seriously you'd think i had starved her all day...she neeeeded a cupcake. half way through the night she changed into her rapunzel costume and led everyone through a series of songs, which she decided what and when to sing...and would bow after each song. it was hilarious...it wasn't so much a bow i guess, more of southern belle curtsy. that ellie. definitely one of a kind.

cRaZy HaiR dAy & a harvest carnival.
friday was crazy hair day. hair color? check. glitter? check.

after a quick change...we were back into the grind with our church harvest carnival. olivia the pig made her appearance and lved every second of it! she played games, won the cupcake walk, went on a hay ride, animal golfed, got her face painted (again, the girl loves getting her gace painted haha), bounced her heart out in the bounce out and rocked it out with pebbles.

i do.
here is the day, october 22 to be exact, when i scored the bling.

it all started with alcatraz. then moved to our hotel, the vitale. amazing, breathtaking views. then dinner at the waterfront. then finally to the pier. what pier? i have no clue, but it was a cute pier with views of the bay bridge. i didn't have my camera...the lbd i was wearing didn't include pockets. we were greeted at the hotel with champagne and rose petals...if only captain enjoyed champagne. the next day, we had breakfast at the market cafe...strawberry french toast YUMMY! then meandered around the marketplace and down to the pier for pictures. there was no wind. weird for san fran. a hippie protest. very common for san fran. all around perfect.
pumpkin patch IV.
this is a little behind, but with the amount of pumpkin patches that we attended multiplied with an engagement and sixth grade camp...my head is still spinning. this particular pumpkin patch had a haystack maze and a really creeeepy shed that they decorated (very awesomely) but scary i must say. i myself was scared...ella ran through it multiple times...my daughter has more guts than me.

how big is ella?? sooooo big! thought you'd appreciate this one, since you were the queen of soooo big. ♥

she rang this cow bell probably 15 times. surprised? i wasn't. repetitions and making loud noises screams ella.

lathrop pumpkin patch.
today we took ella to the lathrop pumpkin patch. yes this would be the third pumpkin patch outing of october. but who's counting?
she got to ride the train.

she got to ride a real live pony.

she got her gace painted per her request. and i got talked into getting the captain painted. so i wound up with a little kitty and a little pumpkin.

she got to ride the scarecrow ride. over a hundred people entered their very own scarecrows and they get judged by the people who go through the ride. of course i want to enter one now.

she got to shoot the pumpkin gun. one of my VERY favorite things to do. something about watching them smash into the  props. two very enthusiastic thumbs up.

she got to go on the tractor ride. bumpy.

she got to give her best cat impression.
she got to eat jack-o-lantern pizza for dinner.
does life get any better for a 3 year old?
