a party fit for a fairy.

anyone who knows me knows i have no restraint when it comes to parties. i love them. love the details. love the planning. love the excitement. and love the fact that every time i throw one, i need at least two full days to recover from all that love. i told myself that i was not going to go over-board with ella's 4th garden fairy birthday party. but to me not going over-board means...well, i don't know exactly what that means because i believe the beauty is in the details...so skimping on a detail is out of the question. i am also a procrastinator, did i mention that? technically, i feel that i have better mental clarity the closer a project gets, but some, ahem my family ahem, tend to classify that as procrastination. with that tid bit in mind, i patted myself numerous times on the back for buying all material, ribbon, wand ivy centerpieces, blah, blah, blah a week or more ahead of the party. i then wanted to take that back pat and slap myself numerous times upside the dome as i stayed up til 1 am the night before cleaning and de-cluttering the thing once known as our house. all jokes aside, the party turned out exactly how i envisioned, well with stormy looking clouds...but that is a different post altogether. i got to mingle, ella got to play, fun was had, the day was a success.

*wands and wings from the dollar section of target. i added ribbon and flower.
*star wand ivy centerpieces from raleys.
*glitter tulle and butterflies from hobby lobby.
*fabric on tables from joanns.
*all plates, napkins, silverware & placemats from grand events.
